Walk away...

The good:
- Solid inline remote - easy to find function buttons.
- No-tangle cable is nice.
- Responsive customer service (but cannot make up for poor product quality...)

The bad:
- Build quality. Mic has now failed on both pairs I've owned. First pair lasted 4 months, together with inline remote signals (stop, play etc) failing soon after. Sent them back to JAYS and they honored the warrantee and sent a replacement set (but I paid for my shipping). Second pair failed within just 1 month. All under normal daily use conditions conducted with care. I could send this pair back and I'm sure they'd send out a third pair but what for - more of the same?
- As other reviews state - poor ear fit, with sharp edges that hurt. They leave your ears sore.
- Headphone jack is also poor. When it moves around in the [iPhone] socket (which it does a lot as it's got a silly 90o bend design), you get nasty static noise through the head phones.

Bottom line: I wanted to like them, especially with the genuine customer service they offer. But too many negatives, not least of which is that they reliably break. I'm sorry Jays, but I'll never be a return customer.

Decided to write a review as this is a bit coincidental for it not to be a reportable issue.

When I looked at reviews myself before purchasing these, the only thing close to a common complaint were a few people saying one bud stopped functioning after a period. Simply based on this only being a few reports against quite a good number of positive ones, I decided to buy.

Also, the one thing with these buds is they collect a lot of wax, and the speaker grill can become clogged. So some of these failure reports may have come from people who didn't expect that and didn't read the cleaning instructions.

About 2 months after purchasing my first pair, the left earbud became very quiet compared to the right, until it eventually stopped working. Cleaning did not help, so I took them back and a replacement was issued (which are my current ones).

About 6 months on into my second set, the left bud started playing up again. (note the left bud is the one without the control). Sometimes it would work until I pushed it into my ear. Again, cleaning did not help. The bud was either off or on intermittently, but definitely related to movement. (E.G. it wouldn't just shut down while in my ear).

Now the the left bud is dead and it's not even intermittent anymore.

It's a shame. I like these units otherwise. The design is outstanding. The sound quality is great (when they work :-D). However they do appear to suffer from a build quality issue. I had a pair of shures for 3 years without a single issue before they finally fell apart.

I received these headphones as a gift and was looking forward to using them as a headset for phone and Skype calls. The flat cable does seem to prevent tangles, but unlike other "earplug" style headphones I've worn these ones really start to hurt my ears if I wear them for more than about 10-15 minutes. They do work fine as a headset on Skype calls with a Mac laptop, but not with an HTC Android phone--I could hear the other person, but they couldn't hear me.

I was hoping I could use these for regular headphones as well as for a headset, but because they're so uncomfortable for me I only use them for the occasional Skype call and keep my old headphones around for music.

These seem to work pretty well. I am forced to rent and am worried about smoke and cooking fumes accumulating. I have a 1 BR apartment with the return duct in an AC/Heater closet located
in my living room area. So far, it seems to do OK, better than just the simple cheapo filter the complex had there. I would suggest stocking up on these and replace them once a month, minimum.
At 8 bucks a filter, that's not bad if you fry chicken a lot or smoke in a sealed environment . I plan on ordering a bunch more and change them often. Also, the draw isn't going to make your AC/Heater unit become louder, that's important. I suppose it's not going to trap smaller particles like smoke and cooking fumes THAT much, but it's better than the super cheap cotton candy filter material my complex provided me with.

I really want to love these filters. We have two cats. Two cases of severe seasonal allergies. And an aversion to anything that doesn't smell like Roses. We have five filters installed at once. Can we tell the difference...don't know. Our noses get used to smells quickly. There is no denying they filter well, but I can't tell you they will completely freshen up your home. We are going back to a similar filter without activated-charcoal. If we can then tell the difference, then I will update this post with a higher rating. If we can't...the review will remain the same.

It does the job and it is inexpensive. What more do you want? It saves me from standing in the heat to hand water the plants. The gasket works. The height adjustment might be hard to adjust for some. The part that anchors the sprinkler in the ground may not be durable enough in hard or rocky soils. This item worked off the well pressure but only threw water in about a 30' circle.

I've owned several other brands, including a few high end Triplite units. I keep coming back to APC products. They are not the least expensive out there, but they are very reliable and work when you need them. I've also found they tend to last over time, I've replaced more than one battery in a high end APC due to the age of the battery rather than replace the unit itself, because they last so long.

Don't waste your time buying the cheap junk, buy APC, in my opinion you get what you pay for...

I really wish I could go back in time and buy the more expensive stroller instead of trying to save money. NOW I will have ended up buying this stroller AND the expensive stroller if I plan on running at all with my child.

When the front wheel is not locked, it shakes like crazy. When I called to ask about it (or get a new front wheel or something) they told me to adjust the bolt in the front. Which, I did, twice and it wouldn't shake for one jog/walk, and then the next time I would go out it would return to its original shakiness. So, I figured maybe I just can't use the swivel, I'll lock the wheel. When I lock the wheel it pulls to the right so bad that every 4 steps I have to adjust it. The stroller is so bad that I literally cannot jog or even walk quickly with it. I am going to be calling the company again and hopefully they can do SOMETHING.

If I had any advice to give to you, it would be to buy the jogger in a STORE so that if you have any problems with it you can return it to a store or at least have someone you can see face to face who you can get to help you. I really regret buying it on amazon.

The wheels are low quality identical to baby trend (I compared)
The suspension arrived dysfunctional. the tight side suspension was barely moving (left side was okay, just cheap spring loaded suspension).
All parts needed greasing, the wheels were not running smoothly.
It is VERY heavy. heaver than the cheap baby trend made from steal, which makes me believe this is not made from aluminum but a distance alloy.
My baby is six months old (95 percentile) and his head is going to hit the canopy soon.
bottom line? if you can caught the extra $100 get a Baby Jogger or BOB.

Let me begin by saying I did not purchase this stroller. However, there was a BIG reason! I had done my research, read the reviews, even checked consumer reports and thought I was sure this is the stroller I wanted. However, I really wanted to see it in person before buying online (Amazon had the best price for this color) so I went to the Joovy showroom about 24 miles from my house. Upon seeing the stroller I still thought I was in love. The color is gorgeous and it has the great swivel wheel that I wanted since I am a walker not a jogger. However, upon sitting my 3 1/2 year old in the seat and closing the sunshade I noticed a big design flaw. My daughter's head was pushing up on the shade and that was with the seat slightly reclined. She isn't overly tall for her age (38.5 inches) and WELL below the weight limit. Neither the seat height nor sunshade height are adjustable according to the Joovy representatives. I don't understand making a stroller with such a great weight capacity but without the height that would normally accompany a child anywhere near the weight. After more shopping around, I ended up ordering a Jeep Limited for $100 less and that fits the height of my daughter with the sunshade closed and even with some room to grow.

I find this to be a great product for my son as he would constantly pull on the traditional bumper and I was afraid he'd get trapped underneath it. I tried going without any sort of bumper but the lil' man would bonk his head on a crib slat in the middle of the night and be woken up. I like the fact that the pads are reversible (blue/brown) and are easy to install. Another plus is that you don't have to remove the Wonder Bumpers when changing the sheet or mattress pad. When my package arrived, several of the bumpers (on the blue side) were caked with dust; this was disappointing as it curbed my initial enthusiasm for this (expensive) product. Another interesting observation is that there does not seem to be great consistency in the padding provided by each individual slat cover...some are definitely more padded than others which resulted in me strategically installing the more padded slat covers when my son needs them most.

I was always worried about traditional crib bumpers, and I am so happy I found a safe alternative. I highly suggest the Wonder Bumpers to new mothers, and mothers in general. They are a MUST have for cribs.

I love the Wonder Bumpers. They are an awesome and cute alternative to regular bumpers. I was worried about buying regular bumpers for decoration, then having to take them off for regular use and having him hit his head on the crib. Or I could not buy them at all and have my crib look empty. And what to do about baby bumping his head? Well this was the answer. It covers the crib rails and does not have the suffocation risk. I don't understand why all crib sets don't come with these. I bought the Lotus two packs and the blue damask 2 packs. I bought them so I would have green and brown solid colors (on the backs) to alternate, and they were on sale. Using the brown and green , I was satisfied. The green was a little bright and the brown wasn't as dark as I wanted, but they were still within my colors. I did not use the damask side because it did not match my nursery, but I fell in love with it. It was beautiful. Only way it could be better would be if it was a silk fabric instead of the fuzzy fabric. Only real complaints are 1) They do not reach all the way to the bottom of my crib rails. If I keep them pushed up towards the top of my rails then they tend to slide down and look uneven, and 2) The brown/damask ones are looser than the other ones and do not fit as tightly and are more apt to slide. But I think these are awesome and an awesome, safe alternative. I just wish they made more crib sets.

My daughter is all over the place. My other daughters are very active in sports and sometimes I have to run fields to watch them both play. The Kelty Carrier is a lifesaver. It is so much easier. I don't have to try and push a stroller all over. The bag holds all my stuff and lets my daughter watch the game too. The only down fall is the shade cover. If I have her on the highest setting, we can't use the screen cover, but that's what they make hats for. So very pleased with this. Did I mention it's very comfortable too. I wish I had this when I had my first two. LOL Since I have been using this, so many people have been asking me about it. They have even tried it out. I think I need to make a commission, because everyone wants one.

This is a perfect carrier for child and stuff. We love the sun shade. As others stated, the backpack compartment is a big hole, so more dividers would be nice, but that doesn't take away from the great item. We used it in NYC for 4 days and our little one never had a complaint. She did fall asleep in it, and this sometimes made her head look uncomfortable, but she didn't complain.

My husband and I selected this model for an early birthday present for him. We ordered the black color. Just and FYI... The model pictured is not what we received. The bag looks like the other colors except black, grey, and tan. This was not a big deal as I guessed that would happen. The deal breaker for this carrier (and the reason we had to return it) was its size. My husband is 6'3" and the fit of the carrier is too small for him. The chest clip in the front rests right under his neck. The torso adjustment also does not adjust to fit him properly. We tried every combination of adjustments and could not make it work.

The other thing he did not like is that this bag is designed for a lot of the weight to remain on your shoulders rather than your hips. What the description on Amazon does not say (that you can find on Kelty's website) is that this model is intended to be used for short trips like the farmer's market, short hikes, etc. If you want to do any extended trips, than this is not the right model.

In the end, my husband wants something that will fit him properly and take the weight off his shoulders like a camping backpack. We like Kelty products and found everything else about the carrier to be great. We decided in the end to return this and purchase the Kelty FC 3.0.

Great purchase. Item came with Maui Jim case and cloth pouch. Sunglasses are great quality, dark Polarized lenses with a sturdy build/frame. I wear them 99% for running. The only complaint that I'd have would be that they fog up when I am at a stand-still, so I've had to take them off until I start running again. This is mostly due to my body heat/rapid breathing from physical activity. When I am wearing them leisurely, this problem does not exist. No pain on the nose as I've experienced in the past with other glasses, and they stay in place while I run; no slipping, falling off my ears or anything. GREAT PURCHASE, I'm very pleased.

Overview


The Expedition 6x is the ideal medium-size pack for a generous amount of photo equipment. The main compartment is completely foam padded with numerous adjustable, foam-padded dividers to protect digital and film SLRs with lenses attached, 5-6 additional lenses, and a flash. A foam-padded front pocket with a water-resistant zipper holds most 14.1" screen laptops. Two "wing" accessory pockets with water-resistant zippers organize and provide quick access to important accessories without disturbing the photo gear. These "wing" accessory pockets also feature Tamrac's patented Memory & Battery Management System that uses red flags to identify available memory cards and batteries from ones that have been used up. A tripod is carried between these pockets with Tamrac's QuickClip tripod attachment system. Inside, the camera with a long zoom lens attached is suspended on two vertical, foam-padded dividers that are internally reinforced with rigid plastic. A restraint strap holds lens firmly in place. A Dual-Hinge Divider System allows a second SLR to be carried with a lens attached. Two Windowpane-Mesh pockets inside the front flap visibly organize filters, film and other accessories. A plastic, foam-padded platform in the bottom provides shock protection while the LockDown Rain Flap protects the zipper from the elements. The state-of-the-art harness system with Dual-Density Comfort Pads provides maximum carrying comfort while Air Flow Channels help keep you cool and dry during extended use. i purchased the item few weeks ago. it is a very functional bag, very solid.
I found place for all my photo equipments in there. Nikon D90, Nikkor 18-105mm Lens, Sigma 70-300mm DG APO, Nikkor 50mm f1,8, charger, cleaning pern, Kenko extension tubes, etc.

After putting all these in, there are still more place to put 2-3 lenses. It feels safe and as mentioned very solid constructed.

Now the cons: It is very big (believe m, much bigger than the pictures you see).
That's a little problem for me, because i can't really carry this bag all the time with me, without getting some questions like "What is in it?". So please look at the dimensions first.

But nevertheless i still found this bag very useful for photographer, who cares for their equipment. 5 stars..
