While I was waiting for the release of Windows 7, I saw a computer deal I couldn't resist and bought a Vista desktop with the coupon for the Windows 7 upgrade. I used this tuner with that machine. It may be the only thing that worked with Vista!! The software worked fine with Vista's Windows Media Center. Then I installed Windows 7 Enterprise and Comcast went all-digital in Nashville. What followed was many a night of missed programs and tweaking until 3:00AM. Then Hauppauge and Microsoft both issued software updates and all the problems were resolved. Since I'm a movie buff, the tuner runs about 12 hours over the course of each day; 365 days/year. The tiny remote requires careful handling to hit the right buttons, but it's still in great shape. It took some trial and error to get the blaster lined up correctly on my Comcast set-top box, but it works well from every part of the room. I also had to do a manual install for Windows Media Center to synch with the tuner, the blaster and the "advanced digital signal" Comcast now allows me to "experience". If you can get all your components to play well together, the HP Tuner is a huge bargain and a real workhorse.

I cant configure this external card. Microsoft Windows Media Center give a lot of errors. I connected my cable box, my vhs, the antenna and all of this got errors. I have a HP Laptop and i thought than this card (HP too) will be working better with this hardware. I was wrong. And finally, I find not support from HP for this card. HP only say that with Windows Media Center works. And it is not. Here I have it and i dont know what to do with this product because I'm tired of trying to use it.
